As well as our single layer sprung floors using the aluminium connections we can offer a double layer design. Double layer floors have been around for a long time and do have some benefits over a single layer design.
If you are looking to add a dance floor (such as Harlequin or other vinyl coverings) the double layer is the best option, the lack of connections makes for a smoother finish ideal for laying a dance floor directly onto the boards underneath the flex rolls.
A double layer floor design does work out more expensive due to the added material costs but if you are limited by space and need to use the floor space for multiple disciplines it’s a great way to utilise a single area in the gym.
